Dominican Republic Business Visa Checklist

VISA NOTES & FEES

1. Passport: Original passport with a validity of more than six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.Attach all your old passports (if any) a) Photocopy of Visa Stamped pages Note - Passport must be valid for at least 18 months.
2. Dominican Republic Visa Application Form : One visa application form to be duly filled and signed by the applicant.
3. Photo Specification: One recent passport sized colored photographs on a white background with 80% face cover on a matt or semi-matt finished paper (35mm x 45mm) Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.
4. Covering Letter : Original Covering Letter from the applicant on the company’s letter head stating his name, designation, passport number,purpose of the trip, duration of the trip & who will bear the expenses. The letter should be addressed to: The Visa Officer, Embassy of the Dominican Republic, New Delhi.
5. Invitation Letter: a) An Invitation letter from Dominican Republic host /inviting company or if not invited then a letter has to be brought from Indian company stating the purpose of visit. b) If invited by DR company then applicant must attach the invitation letter in Spanish which should be notarized and legalized by Procuraduría General de la RepúblicaDominicana and invitation letter should have following Clause c) Registration Certificate of the Company in Dominican Republic. d) Dominican ID (Cedula) or Migration Status of Guarantor. e) Document stating that the Guarantor is authorized to sign on behalf of the company.
6. Police Clearance Certificate : PCC certificate attested by MEA is required. Please Note: PCC should be issued from passport office and should not be more than six months old.
7. Financials: a) Letter from the Bank providing - Date of opening of the account, annual average balance maintained during the year, date of last deposit. (No Bank Statements)
8. Proof of Accomodation: Hotel Confirmation
9. Airline Reservation: Ticket Itinerary
10. Please Note: All the supporting documents (Covering Letter, PCC, Bank Letter, Medical& Birth Certificate etc) must be submitted in Spanish or along with its "Spanish Translation".
