Finland Business Visa Checklist

VISA NOTES & FEES

1. Passport: Original Passport with the validity of minimum three months from the date of return and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping. a) Attach copy of first & last page and observation page (if any) is present on the Passport. Please Note: a) Passports issued beyond 10 years will not be accepted by the Embassy b) Attach all your old passports (if any) c)Handwritten passports will not be accepted.
2. Schengen Visa Application Form:visa application form has to be filled Online by the applicant through the following link :https://www.vfsvisaonline.com/OnlineVaf-Finland?Country=en+xtw40644WkxUiBRxd8Q== . Business Visa Checklist to be filled and signed by the applicant. Please note : Applicant's mobile number should be mentioned in visa form as Embassy / Consulate can contact the applicant at any point of time during visa processing.
3. Photo Specification: Two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm) Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.
4. Covering Letter : Original Covering-letter from the company on its letter head stating applicant's name, designation, passport number, purpose & duration of the visit. The letter should be duly signed by authorized signatory stating his name & designation along with the company stamp and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Embassy of Finland , New Delhi.
5. Invitation Letter: Copy of Invitation Letter from Finnish host / inviting Company on its letter head stating the applicant's name, designation, passport number and purpose & duration of visit. The letter should be duly signed by the invitee mentioning his contact details, address, e-mail address and sponsorship details.
6. Financials: a) Copy of Personal & Company ITR for last 3yrs. b) Original Bank Statement for last six months with Bank Seal and Sign. Note :Bank statement Should be on A4 Size Paper. c) Credit Card copy/Foreign Exchange endorsement/Traveler’s Cheque.
7. Proof of Occupation: Self Employed a) Copy of Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation. b) Copy of the Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership Deed. c) Brief Company Profile. d) Articles of Memorandum (In case the applicant is MD/Director). Employed a) Copy of salary slips for last three months. b) Copy of the company ID card.
8. Proof of Accommodation : Hotel booking for the entire period of stay in Schengen area. Please Note: Hotel should match the ticket dates and maximum stay should be in Finland.
9. Airline Reservation : Ticket Itinerary. Please Note: The travel dates should be after 12 working days from the date of submission of application.
10. Medical : Copy of Medical Insurance for the stay duration amounting to 30,000 Euros.The validity of the travel insurance must be at least 15 days longer than the period of stay and must cover the whole Schengen territory.Insurance to be done by the Authorized Insurance Companies .
11. Please Note: a) Embassy may ask to apply under Work permit or to provide day to day agenda if the duration of stay is over 15 days.
12. New Procedure for Schengen Visa Applications: With immediate effect, Indian citizens travelling to Schengen countries for short-term (max 90 days in 180 days) will have to visit VFS visa application centre personally to provide biometric data (fingerprints and digital photograph). For subsequent applications within next 5 years the biometric data will be copied from the previous visa application included in the VIS.
